Shopping Tips Part 1

Many people out there definitely love shopping, but do u know that you sometime hate shopping as it brings u lots of impulsive buys, and u might ended up cannot buy this or that due to some reasons? shall give u some tips now. but then, it is more for gers..

1. wear nude color underwear
- i have once seen a girl at espirt trying out a white color skirt. seriously, i dun mean to notice, but all of us(me and my friends) notice that she is wearing a white underwear. in case anyone who do not know, it is a 100% wrong to wear white bra and panty when u are wearing white clothing. you should wear nude color!

2. wear dark blue jeans
- jeans is the best matching bottom. when you try on a casual top, u can try with jeans, when you try on a formal top, u can also try with jeans. so jeans is definitely the best bottom to wear when shopping.

3. wear one of your best tops, but easy to remove type(e.g T-shirt).
- why one of your best tops. many of my friends including me buy clothes and then dun wear coz we realise that our other clothes look much much better than it. my suggestion is to wear ur best top, look at yourself in the mirror before trying a new top, and ask yourself, "do i look even better in this?" if the answer is no, forgo that piece of clothing and save the money, get something better. not to forget that the top should be of a easy to remove type. dun try to go shopping with a top with 10 buttons even if it is your best top.

4. avoid dangling accessories.
- you definitely do not wanna get ur accessories hook on to some clothes and thus u have to pay for it even though you don't like it at all...

5. avoid thick makeup and red hot lipstick
- though i understand that everyone like to be pretty when they go out, but note: you are shopping, not clubbing, no point having thick thick makeup. you might even spolit the clothes instead. go light on your makeup. put on ur lip balm and gloss instead of red lip color. save the clothes and save your money.

6. pay by card.
- it is never save to bring so much cash on hand, and it is troublesome to bring little cash to shop as you need to withdraw, withdraw and withdraw again again and again. it get irritating, isn't it. so op for cards. moreover some cards allow much discount too. but of coz, remember to have some cash (approx less than $50) to spend on place when cards is no accepted. but remember, these place usually sell things that are not very neccessary, so no point spending on such places.

7. shave
- think i dun need explain further

that's all for the time being.. allow me to ponder~

hinokio

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

A seamless blend of real live actors and computer generated special effects are on display in Akiyama Takahiro's Hinokio, a story about one lonely boy and his desire to reach out and connect with humanity, albeit with a futuristic twist!

Fearful and unable to leave his house since his mother's untimely death, a heartbroken, emotionally devastated twelve year old named Satoru (Kanata Hongo) withdraws himself from all contact with the outside world. However, this situation changes slightly when a technological marvel is built for him, a state-of-the-art robot nicknamed Hinokio! With the help of his robot doppelganger, Satoru is able to take the first tentative steps to reconnecting with the world around him, sending Hinokio to grade school in his stead.

During this daring experiment, Satoru is able to befriend a tomboy named Jun (Tabe Mikano) with the help of his robotic stand-in. But even if he connects with Jun, is he still not alone, isolated in his bedroom? Soon enough, this relationship impels Satoru to attempt to experience the world in a more direct manner, but not by coming out of the house. Instead, he activates the robot's "sensations," a decision that puts young Takashi in mortal jeopardy.

Back home, there is also the strained relationship between father and son for Takashi to deal with. Satoru's dad, Kaoru (Masatoshi Nakamura) tries his best to reach out to his son, but Satoru still blames him for his mother's death. Thus, communication between the two is sparse at best. Yet through the vehicle of Hinokio, the two may finally have a chance at reconciliation. Will Satoru trade all his newfound virtual relationships for real ones or will he remain petrified with fear? Featuring appearances by Kobayashi Ryoko and Horikita Maki, Hinokio is a poignant film that asks the hard questions about what it really means to be alive.

Horror Movies

*Abstracted(or copy) from a comic strip from THE NEWPAPER 22 Oct 2005

A(looking at "The Wig" poster) : Shiok! Another asian horror film.

B: why is it in western horror, the monster is usually a crazed male killer with a weapon, while in asian horror, the monster is either a young woman with long hair or a child?

B: i mean what does it say about asian society that it fears young women and children?

A: eh.. It's every asian man's nightmare to be confronted by a woman with a child, okay? And they are more likely to turn up than an armed killer!

B: Point Taken.
